WhyPope Francis, in the Papal Bull announcing the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, declared the following: 14. "The practice of pilgrimage has a special place in the Holy Year, because it represents the journey each of us makes in this life. Life itself is a pilgrimage, and the human being is a viator, a pilgrim travelling along the road, making his way to the desired destination. [Going on pilgrimage] will be a sign that mercy is also a goal to reach and requires dedication and sacrifice. May pilgrimage be an impetus to conversion..."
Our Lady invited Adele Brise to pray, do penance and offer communions for sinners, and to teach the "children in this wild country" what they should know for salvation. As pilgrims, we will pray the Rosary, Holy Mass, and Adoration, imploring God's mercy on our world, which suffers so particliarly in this intense time, and we will learn what we should know for salvation from Our Lady and the amazing events that followed the apparition, including the Peshtigo Fire. We will entrust ourselves and our petitions to Our Lady of Good Help, and find the impetus for our own conversion.
